He holds a PhD in Biological Diversity and Environment and a Master's Degree in Conservation and Biodiversity Management in the Tropics.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

Throughout his career, he has worked on the development of management plans, research agendas, environmental assessments, ecological restoration programs, and territorial planning processes in both terrestrial and marine environments. His experience includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing complex environmental projects, and facilitating collaborative processes involving government agencies, local communities, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

His work is grounded in the understanding of territories as complex social-ecological systems, where environmental, social, economic, and institutional processes are closely interconnected. From this perspective, he promotes approaches that strengthen the resilience of ecosystems and communities while supporting sustainable development and informed decision-making. Es un Ingeniero Naval especializado en embarcaciones a motor con cero emisiones de carbono. Ingeniero en Dise\u00f1o de Yates y Peque\u00f1as Embarcaciones por la Universidad de Southampton Solent, actualmente cursa una Maestr\u00eda en Ingenier\u00eda Computacional Avanzada en la Universidad de Southampton.<\/p>

His career combines innovation in naval design and advanced manufacturing with a strong focus on sustainability.\nHis undergraduate research on a zero-emission hydrofoil fast ferry was refined in collaboration with his advisor and an external CFD specialist, securing a \u00a31.7 million grant.\nIn partnership with Chartwell Marine, this concept has evolved to the construction and testing phase, paving the way for large-scale production.<\/p>

He also has experience in the manufacturing and customization of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) components, including carbon fiber parts for high-performance sailboats.\nHis expertise also extends to the maintenance and repair of motor and sailing vessels, with a comprehensive focus on the structural integrity of composite materials and mechanical systems.<\/p>
